2023 Bay Harbor Garden and Fun Club
Meetings are usually held on the 4th Saturday every other month but look for an email announcement prior to each meeting. If you are interested and haven’t already advised your email address, send a message to May Bonno, maybonno@att.com.
If you have not paid your annual dues, there is a small $5 fee.
PAST ACTIVITIES
The first meeting of 2020 was held February 22nd at the home of Linda Coltharp. We learned the importance of making our gardens friendly to nature and how to attract butterflies & hummingbirds to our garden. Refreshments were served then all proceeded to the front porch where supplies were provided to build our own butterfly/hummingbird feeders.
The Christmas Party that the Garden Club hosted for the whole neighborhood was held at 6:00 p.m. December 7, at the home of Pam Williams, 3917 1st St. Heavy hors d’ oeuvres, wine, sangria, and water was provided. Attendees enjoyed a gift exchange.
The October 26 Bay Harbor Garden Club meeting was a tour of the Tree Sculptures in the Galveston Historic District with lunch afterwards at Coastal Grill, 1827 Strand St, Galveston, Texas.
